For Russian citizens
Russian citizens do not require a visa to visit Ukraine. However, when crossing the border, you may be asked to provide proof of the purpose of your visit and the duration for which you’ll be resident in the country. This proof can be a hotel booking confirmation, an invitation to the meeting, or something similar.
The RIPE NCC will send all Russian participants an invitation letter within ten days of their meeting registration. In addition, the host will submit a list of all ENOG 10 Russian national participants to the Border Guard Service to ease their entry into Ukraine. This list will be submitted two weeks before the meeting, so it is vital that you register before this time.
Please don’t forget that you are crossing the border, you might be asked to show the following:
- Invitation to the conference
- Proof of accommodation during your stay in Ukraine
- Return flight or train tickets
- Proof that you have enough money for the duration of your stay
(usually the equivalent of around 50 EUR or 4000 Rubles for each day) - Proof of valid health insurance
