The ENOG 10\/RIPE NCC Regional Meeting took place on 13-14 October at the Hotel Bristol in Odessa, Ukraine. A total of 184 attendees from 11 countries participated in the meeting, 135 of whom were from Ukraine.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Sergey asked Maxim if this prolongation did indeed signal a weakness in the system and that the interference of the US government in Internet governance indicates the desire to halt the transfer of powers.<\/p>\n Maxim answered that not everyone supports the current proposal, and that there is resistance to the process from the Republican side of the US government, but at present the discussion is between the different communities and ICANN, rather than between governments and ICANN.<\/p>\n – Viktor Naumov, RIPE NCC <\/i><\/a><\/p>\n This presentation was updated after ENOG 10, as one slide contained incorrect data regarding the number of LIRs in the ENOG region.<\/p>\n – Maarit Palovirta, ISOC <\/i><\/a><\/p>\n – Anton Baskov, Alexey Semenyaka<\/p>\n – Kaveh Ranjbar, RIPE NCC<\/p>\n Kaveh thanked the Programme Committee for their work in putting together the meeting.
